  • Senior Issue Liaison for US Congress Rep (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: Residents are invited to join Jay Higgins, Senior Issue Liaison for US Congresswoman Katherine Clark, to discuss senior benefits or policy matters for one hour each month.
  • Culinary Demos for Seniors (12:30 – 1:30 pm) @ The Southborough Senior Center: One of a 3-part cooking demo series. This session focuses on “The Bachelor’s Best Friend”. Suggested donation of $3. (Space is limited. To check/signup, call 508-228-4453.) For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Neary/Trottier Orchestra Concert (7:00 – 9:00 pm) @ Trottier Middle School

  • Food Truck Wednesdays (3:00 – 7:00 pm) @ : Part of a series organized by the Southborough Rotary Club this spring. They are bringing in five food trucks (four selling dinner and one selling ice cream). The weekly food festival will run May 23 – June 13. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Trottier Big Band Concert (3:30 – 5:30 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: The event begins with a free early dinner. The band performance will begin at 4:00 pm. For planning purposes, please sign up at the front desk or call (508) 229-4453. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Press Start! (6:00 pm) @ Neary Elementary School- Gym: Neary School spring musical by 4th & 5th graders (through SkyRise Theater after school program) Tickets – $8 each Available at the door.   • ARHS Pops Night (7:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School: Come enjoy our year end musical celebration featuring all of our instrumental and choral ensembles! The ARHS gym is transformed into a “Boston Pops” style venue with 40 round tables and chairs to accommodate 400 people plus the bleachers for 300 more. For more details, see dedicated post.
  • Free seminar on Estate Planning (Wills & Trusts) (7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Community House, 28 Main St: Southborough attorney Kate Constantino is presenting a free estate planning seminar. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • Bay Circuit Trail Hike (1:00 – 3:00 pm) @ meet at the Southborough Senior Center: A program for active seniors. Carpool to the “next North section” of the trail. (This is one of a series of hikes on the trail organized by the Trailblazers.) For more details, see dedicated post
  • Nothing to Hide exhibit (7:30 – 8:30 pm) @ Southborough Community House, 28 Main St: The gallery finale is bringing together the exhibit that has been on display in buildings throughout Town through the month of May – a touring photo and true stories display. This reception is free and open to the public with a suggested donation of $5 per person at the door.  The event will feature hors d’oeuvres and live music, as well as information tables about mental health.   • Scratch at the Library (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Coding for 3rd – 5th graders. Children new to Scratch will learn about the essentials using guided exercises while those more familiar with Scratch can work on suggested projects or experiment with their own projects.   • Creating your own Fairy or Gnome House workshop (2:00 – 4:00 pm) @ Beals Preserve: This free workshop is open to the public. It will be led by Southborough artist Deborah Costine. The program will launch the Fairy and Gnome Village at Beals Preserve to be on display through the spring and summer. For more details, see dedicated post.

  • ARHS Graduation (2:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School
  • Summer Evening Strolls at Beals Preserve (6:30 pm) @ Park and meet in cul de sac at the end of Red Gate Lane off Flagg Rd: The public is invited to join Southborough Open Land Foundation for a monthly, informal evening stroll along the trails of the beautiful Beals Preserve. They will be looking at the flora and fauna as well as noting a bit of history of this former pasture.
