The Southborough Police report that the Gulf Station was held up by armed robbers last night.

On, 12/30/2018, at approximately 9:21 P.M., Southborough Police Officers were dispatched to the Gulf Gas Station located at 344 Turnpike Road for a reported Armed Robbery that just occurred.  A review of surveillance footage shows two males entering the business wearing ski masks, gloves, and dark clothing. One was armed with a handgun, and the other with a metal bar. The thirty-seven year old male clerk was shoved to the ground by one of the males who cleaned out the register drawer. He offered no resistance, and was not injured. A yet to be determined amount of cash was taken before the suspects fled eastbound in a vehicle.

The case is under investigation. Further information will only be released as it becomes appropriate. Please contact Detective Keith Nichols at (774) 249-0355 or Lieutenant Sean James at (508) 485-2121 with any information.
