School delayed 2 hrs: January 30 (Updated)

I got the early morning wake up call from Superintendent Johnson.

There will be a 2 hour delay for Southborough public schools and Algonquin Regional High School today.

Of course, this means that half day preschool is cancelled.

I’ll update this post later if there is any more weather related activity to report.

Updated (1/30/19 7:19 am): I missed an announcement came out yesterday afternoon. Finn School shared that their heat is fixed and they are good to go today. So they will be opening their doors this morning for school (just two hours late like all of the other schools in the district.)

Here is the announcement from yesterday:

FINN SCHOOL UPDATE

I am pleased to inform you that our heating system has been successfully repaired and the building’s temperature is at a level suitable for student and staff occupancy.  As of tomorrow, Wednesday, January 30, 2019, we will resume our regular daily schedule for all students, Pk- Grade 1. All after-school and extended day programming will be offered as scheduled.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Respectfully,

Christine M. Johnson
Superintendent of Schools
