SAM interviews: Business, law, books, and good works

by beth on August 13, 2019

Last week, I shared videos of events that took place in Southborough over the spring. But Southborough Access Media doesn’t just cover meetings and events in town. SAM producers also produce their own shows. And they encourage others to work with them to produce their own as well.*

Below areinterviews produced this year by SAM or with their help. They include a look at businesses in Southborough, our D.A., and a Southborough author. They include videos just posted today.

Southborough Talks: District Attorney Joseph D. Early Jr.

The “Talks” program is the only one of this batch that puts a SAM producer in front of the camera. Assistant Executive Director Terry Underwood interviews the Worcester County D.A.

Author Susan Lubner at Trottier Middle School

Here, middle schoolers take over as interviewers. Last year, SAM producers took Trottier students under their wings, taught them how to operate the equipment, and guided them through how to produce an interview show. After a few practice runs, students (with help) produced this interview with Southborough children’s author Susan Lubner.

*As I posted earlier this summer, residents are being recruited to be part of a TED talk-like series. SAM has also put out the word in the past encouraging the community to come in and learn how they can produce shows on their areas of interest.
