The Town of Southborough is seeking applicants for FT Administrative Assistant for its department of Youth and Family Services; this position is fully eligible for benefits & paid leave.

Duties include: a desire to work within a human service department, assisting with event planning and coordination, providing high level administrative support, responding to inquiries in a variety of methods, processing payables & payroll and other duties as assigned. Experience in program development is beneficial to support holiday drives, scholarship fund management, workshops, prevention programs and referral services. This position requires detailed record keeping, excellent customer service skills, patience and the ability to work in an environment that supports mental health and human service resources. Good communication skills, ability to prioritize work load, and capacity to work with a wide variety of personalities are essential. This position involves a high degree of diplomacy, tact, judgement and commitment. Successful passage of CORI/SORI is mandatory. Prior experience in an administrative capacity or local government organization is preferred. A diverse applicant pool is absolutely encouraged. EEO

Beth..something’s wrong with this post…if it is a job fully eligible for benefits, it can’t be part time.

Thank you for pointing that out! I used an old post as a template and missed that it said part time next to the title.
