Southborough Council of the Arts has put a call out for artists of all ages to share, inspire and “celebrate our Southborough Silver Linings”.

The council is seeking artistic contributions, including art, stories, songs, or poems.

The deadline to answer SCAC’s call is August 30th.

Below are the details:

Silver Linings - Call for Art flyerSouthborough Silver Linings:

Artistic Expression in a World of Uncertainty

Southborough Cultural Arts Council is looking for…well…YOU! We want to celebrate Silver Linings during all of the uncertainty we have endured since March. Although we are all living with the impacts of the pandemic, protests and more, we are asking artists (of all ages!) to capture the hope, kindness, and inspiration–the silver linings.

Southborough Silver Linings will be an Arts’ response–an exhibit featuring any and all art forms this fall, 2020. We would love to feature a Story/Poetry Slam as part of the event and maybe even live, original music inspired by the recent months.

Please spread the word and send a picture or recording of your work; your story; or your song along with the google entry form by August 30, 2020. If you do not have a google account, please print/scan this entry form and email/mail it to Denise Johnson (7 Strawberry Hill Road, Southborough, MA 01772). Please direct any questions to denise.johnson3@verizon.net.

Members of the SCAC will select entries to be included in the exhibit/event and will post selections by September 10, 2020.

Let’s share. Let’s inspire. Let’s celebrate our
Southborough Silver Linings.
