  • Senior Songsters (11:00 am) @ Southborough Senior Center: Weekly rehearsal for the singing group open to all area seniors regardless of singing ability. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Outdoor Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library’s back lawn: Join Miss Kim on the lawn (weather permitting) for stories and craft based on a weekly theme. Please bring a blanket or chair. No registration required.
  • Bridge (1:00 pm) @ Southborough Senior Center: A weekly card group, welcoming new participants. For details, contact the Senior Center at 508-229-4453.

  • Tuesday Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Need help with technology? Library staff and teen volunteers will make every effort to assist you. Bring questions about ebooks and electronic resources. This is a drop in event; no registrations necessary. Sessions are limited to no more than 1 hour.
  • Selectmen’s Hours (6:00 – 7:00 pm) @ zoom: Sam Stivers and Marty Healey will be available to answer questions or discuss a topic of your choice. For details, see announcement.

  • Elder Law advice (10:00 – 10:45 am) @ phone or zoom: An Elder Law attorney who has given many seminars at the Senior Center will offer Southborough seniors free individualized legal advice during scheduled remote sessions.   • Sold Out – Preschool Farm Explorer Fridays (9:30 – 10:30 am) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: For ages 2 years 9 months to 5 years old (and siblings). Your little farm explorers will become fully immersed in what life is like here at Chestnut Hill. Activities may include brushing goats, planting seeds, and other age-appropriate hands-on farm “chores,” as well as art projects and stories. Pre-registration (and fee) required.   • Fay School Farmer’s Market (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Fay School: The school is featuring a farmer’s market with vendors selling a variety of foods and goods. This week’s theme is Festive Fall with pumpkin painting and a make-your-own trick-or-treat bag craft. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Sold Out – Hike with Goats (9:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Pre-registration (and fee) required. Your reservation gets you and your group of family or friends an hour-long experience with a friendly goat on its own harness and leash. You will first learn how to walk with the goat, and then you’ll be accompanied by a farm staff member as you and your new goat friend make your way around the farm and its trails.   • Read to a Dog (11:00 am – 12:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Lawn: Children preferably ages 5 and up with some reading ability will read to a certified therapy dog.   • Fall Fun on the Farm (12:00 – 4:30 pm in 90 minute windows) @ Chestnut Hill Farm: Enjoy a classic New England fall day featuring apple cider, hayrides, a climbing haystack, live music, scenic walking trails, a Storywalk, and a visit to see the goats, chickens and sheep.
