  • Youth Writing Club (3:30 -4:30 pm) @ zoom: The Southborough Library is hosting this virtual creative writing club for ages 10-18. The zoom sessions are a fun and supportive space to get creative and build skills with peers. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Tuesday Tech Time (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library Teen Room: Need help with technology? Library staff and teen volunteers will make every effort to assist you. Bring questions about ebooks and electronic resources. This is a drop in event; no registrations necessary. Sessions are limited to no more than 1 hour.

  • NSPAC Meeting with Literacy Screening presentation (4:00 – 5:00 pm) @ zoom: Northborough Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council’s monthly meeting includes a presentation by the district’s new ELA Coordinator on Literacy Screening Tools and Programs.   • Young Scientist STEM Beginnings (10:30 – 11:30 am) @ zoom: This is a free, weekly virtual series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments.   • Baby/Toddler Storytime (11:00 – 11:45 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: This story time is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each session will include puppets, stories, and music. No registration required.

  • EcoTarium: A Journey to the Stars! (4:00 – 5:30 pm) @ zoom: Southborough Library is hosting this virtual program presented by the EcoTarium and sponsored by T-Mobile®. The program for all ages takes you on a tour of the solar system, explore planets, stars, and nebulae, to probe the outer limits of the universe, and discover what’s in the night sky.   • Dull Men’s Club (10:00 am) @ zoom: Casual social club for senior men. New members are always welcome to drop in. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Girl Scout Holiday Sing-along (6:30 – 7:30 pm) @ Community House Lawn: Event for all families in Southborough with Girl Scouts Kick off your holiday season with an old-fashioned holiday sing-along with some modern touches. Saturday, December 4, 2021 

  • Annual Kids Shop (9:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ St Anne’s Church Parish Hall, 20 Boston Road: An annual Southborough tradition. Boy Scout Troop 92 provides a safe haven for kids to do their own holiday shopping for family members without parents’ prying eyes. While waiting, adults can enjoy a bake sale and coffee.   • Cub Scout’s Wreath & Candle Sale (10:00 am) @ Transfer Station, 147 Cordaville Rd: Southborough Cub Scouts will be selling evergreen wreaths and hand dipped Hanukkah candles. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Christmas Bazaar (10:00 am – 2:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 27 Main St: Admission is free. Featuring the White Elephant, jewelry, toy, and craft sales, a silent auction, kids games & actvities, basket raffle, bake sale, and the annual Bargain Box bag sale.   • Holiday Market (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Knights of Columbus Hall, 1Main St: Admission is free. Four local artisans will be selling pottery, natural soap, jewelry, and custom wooden signs/decor. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Drop-in Holiday Tree Ornaments (10:00 am – 5:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: Instead of a party this year, the Library will be offering drop-in hours over several days for kids to come in and make ornaments to bring home, give as gifts or hang on the library holiday tree. (No refreshments. Daytime drop in hours will also be offered Mon-Thurs of next week.)
  • Santa Day (12:00 – 3:00 pm) @ St. Mark’s field and Community House: See Santa arrive in his helicopter and land on St. Mark’s Field. Then join him and Southborough Kindergroup at the Community House. Enjoy ornament making, refreshments, caroler and character visits and more before kids share their wishes with Santa while posing for a picture. For details, see dedicated post.
