Age bracket winners for the NECC 5K Race/Walk for Autism held on Saturday are posted over at Cool Running.
Southborough residents placed in several of the age brackets.
- Among women ages 15-18, Ann Tomassini placed second with a time of 33:59.
- Among men ages 31-49, John Megan place first with a time of 19:40.
- Among men ages 50-89, Bill Davis placed second with a time of 25:58.
- Among women ages 50-89, Betsy McCarthy placed third with a time of 32:46.
As of Sunday, the NECC event website listed total donations for the race at more than $120K.
Update: I received word that the ages of many runners were not reported correctly, so some of the age bracket results reported by Cool Running may not be accurate.
