Youth sport coaches, administrators, and parents are invited to attend a sports safety summit sponsored by the Southborough Recreation Department along with Fay School.
Topics include brain injuries and concussions, sports nutrition for youths, legal and ethical responsibilities for youth coaches, and lightning safety and emergency preparedness. The Southborough Fire Department will also provide CPR/AED and first aid training.
The summit will be held at Fay School on Saturday, November 14 from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. More information and registration form can be found here (.pdf).
