Art exhibit featuring Southborough landscapes opens tomorrow night

Here’s a great way to kick off the Heritage Day weekend. The Southborough Open Land Foundation and the Southborough Arts Center have teamed up to bring you a new exhibit featuring painted landscapes of Chestnut Hill Farm and the Beals Preserve — two idyllic Southborough spots.

The paintings were all made by artists from Oak Grove Painters. Some of the artists will be on hand at the Arts Center for the exhibit’s opening reception Friday night from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served.

Oak Grove Painters is made up of Metrowest artists including Will Kirkpatrick, Ginger Greenblatt, Rod Peterson, Judy Greulich, Marian Dioguardi, and Gene Mackles.

If you can’t make it Friday night, not to worry, the exhibit runs until October 24. Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The Arts Center is located at 21 Highland Street.
