Public hearing on regional open space plan takes place on Tuesday

The MetroWest Regional Collaborative is putting together a regional open space plan, and they want your input. The group’s goal is to illustrate how open space and trails in a number of area towns, including Southborough, can become linked into an interconnected network that crosses municipal boundaries.

They also want to identify unprotected land that would enhance the connectivity and conservation value of the existing open space.

You can learn more — and share your thoughts — at a public hearing on Tuesday at 7:00 pm at the Senior Center (9 Cordaville Road).

If you can’t make the meeting on Tuesday, there is also one tonight at the Wayland Town Building (corner of Routes 20 and 126/27) starting at 6:00 pm.
