Last week I told you about the Southborough 11-year-old baseball team’s successful season. This week kudos go to the 9-year-olds. Coach Paul Secrist had this to say:
Congratulations to the 9-year-old district team for winning the Northboro tournament championship over a strong Holden team, 4-1. It was a great win for the boys after reaching the semi-finals in the two previous tournaments they played this summer. What a great way to end the season! Members of the Championship team are: Jack Bayko, Jack Branson, Jake DeSabato, Daniel Goldstein, Nolan Kimball, Louis Lyons, Aidan O’Leary, Greg Rosen, Jeffrey Secrist, Patrick Solomon, Tommy Swaney, and Connor Whitney. Congratulations Boys – Enjoy the rest of the Summer!
