Library book club selections for April

The Southborough Public Library offers book clubs for readers of all ages, and they’re all open to the public. Here’s what the groups are reading this month. Pick up a copy and join the discussion.

Seniors
The Senior Center Book Group will discuss The Story of Beautiful Girl by Rachel Simon, on Wednesday, April 11, 11:00 a.m., at the Senior Center.

Young Adults
The YA Book Group will discuss Eon by Alison Goodman and Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld on Wednesday, April 11, 6:30 p.m., at the Library. Pizza and soda provided by Southborough Dominos.

4th-6th Graders
The 4th-6th Grade Book Group will meet to discuss their favorite poem or poetry book on Thursday, April 26, 6:30 p.m., at the Library. Pizza and soda provided by the Friends of the Library.

2nd and 3rd Graders
The 2nd & 3rd Grade Book Group will meet on Wednesday, April 25, 6:30 p.m., at the Library. The book they will discuss is It’s Raining Pigs & Noodles by Jack Prelutsky.

Adults
The First Wednesday Book Group has already met this month, but in May they will be watching the movie Midnight in Paris. Members are invited to read either The Paris Wife by Paula McLain or A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway. The group meets on May 2 at 10:00 am at the Library.
