At the Southborough Library this week (11/26/12 – 12/1/12): Story time, book groups, and more

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This program is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each story time will feature stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. Drop-in, no registration required.

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am): This program is for children age 2-5 years old and their parents or caregivers. Each story time will feature stories and a craft based on a weekly theme. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • 2nd & 3rd Grade Book Group (6:30 – 7:30 pm): This book group is for children in second and third grade. A book will be selected each month and provided for the group members, and we will have a short discussion and activities about the book at each meeting. Pizza will be served, provided by the Friends of the Library. Space is limited and registration is required.
  • Planning Mtg – Southborough Business Speaker Series: THE INSIDE STORY (6:30 –  8:00 pm): The Southborough Library’s Southborough Business Network is a group of hard-working volunteers who put together the quarterly INSIDE STORY Business Speaker Series. Join us for this meeting to recap the November KAZ, Inc. event, and plan for 2013. Bring a friend, or business associate!

  • Baby and Toddler Time (11:00 – 11:30 am): This program is for children age 0-2 years and their parents or caregivers. Each weekly story time will include puppets, short stories, and music. Drop-in, no registration required.
  • Children’s Book Reading (3:45 pm – 5:00 pm): Southborough author Diane Root and illustrator Priscilla Alpaugh will read and sign their children’s book, “Solomon Sire and the Fantastic Fib”. Music and puppets will be featured as part of the reading. This program best suited for ages 4-6. No registration necessary.
