Since the Gobble Wobble always takes place on Thanksgiving, it would be silly to tell you to “save the date”. But, for those of you who like to get in shape for the 5K run, this is a friendly reminder that it’s coming up in less than two months.

For those of you unfamiliar, Southborough’s Gobble Wobble is an 8 year old tradition. Locals earn their Thanksgiving dinners while supporting the Friends of Southborough Recreation.

Last year, over 1,000 locals flocked to run the 5K or strut their stuff through the 2 mile walk. And many kids whooped their way through the free Fun Run.

Race organizers are again providing babysitting for only $5 per family. This year, spots are reserved by pre-registering online.

Remember, this is a fundraiser. So, even if you aren’t interested in running, you can offer support by volunteering.
