This Monday morning, residents turned up en masse to enjoy or participate in Southborough’s 41st Heritage Day.
The town’s big parade included town officials, political supporters, and loads of children’s organizations.
In fact, it seemed like more children in town were throwing candy from the parade than standing on the sides of the streets to collect it! That was fine, since plenty of adults were on hand to wave and cheer on the marching groups.
I took a slew of pictures to share (scroll down).
But if you really want to recapture the day, check out the videos from Southborough Access Media. (To fit these in, I made the windows small. But you can click on the full screen icon [ ] in bottom right corner to expand.)

While parade participants are lining up, the field opens for business. (Confession, this photo is from later in the day. Most of this crowd was probably waiting for or in the parade.)
