The Southborough Recreation Department is once again offering its popular summer camp programs at Finn and Woodward this year. Sessions run weekly from June 29 through August 14. Sign up by this Thursday, April 30 to take advantage of the early bird discount.

Camp at Finn School is open to children ages 2.9 (and potty trained) to those entering first grade, while the program at Woodward is open to children entering grades 2 through 5. For the older kids at Woodward, some weeks feature special activities at Fay camp and/or swimming at St. Mark’s School’s pool.

For all ages, themes of the week offer a variety of fun activities and entertainment throughout the summer.

Themes this summer are:

  • Stars & Stripes Week
  • Get Set & Get Fit
  • Winter Wonderland in July
  • Carnival Week
  • Circus Up!
  • Heroes Week
  • Wild Wild West

The camps are half day with drop off beginning at 8:30 am and pickup ending at 12:30 pm. The cost for both camps is $104-130 per week  if you register by April 30, and $112-140 after that.

For those of you who need a full day offering – Southborough Rec has again teamed up with Southborough Extended Day to offer a full-day option for families who need it. Kids spend the first half of the day at summer camp, and are then transported over to Extended Day for the second half (for a transportation fee of $24-35 per week). Space in the program is limited, so sign up soon.

For full details, see the program guide. Register online or drop off your form at the Recreation Department office at 21 Highland Street. (That’s the option you’ll need to use if looking to cash in a pre-paid discount voucher.) They also have an overnight mailbox outside for hand delivered forms.
