Police warning: Three break-ins and another attempt

Southborough Police are warning residents about recent break-ins in the area of Woodland Road. And they are reminding us to secure windows and doors.

With master bedrooms targeted, I can’t help but think about more than jewelry at risk.

If Santa has hidden any expensive gifts in prep for Christmas Day, make sure they’re not just out of reach from peeping tots. Put them where a Grinch is unlikely to look.

And if you see a potential Grinch, (or have information relevant to the crimes) reach out to police:

PLEASE BE ADVISED!

The Southborough Police would like to alert residents of a series of three house breaks, and one attempt, in over the last three weeks in the Woodland Road area. Residents are asked to take extra precautions in locking doors and windows. In addition, all valuables should be secured in a safe hiding place. Master bedrooms have been a target area. If you see something in your neighborhood that appears suspicious- please do not hesitate to call the department at (508) 485-2121. If you believe that you may have some useful information regarding these break-in’s, please call and ask for Det. Sean McCarthy or Lt. Sean James. Thank you.
