Yesterday was perfect weather for Southborough’s annual Heritage Day parade and festivities. I was tied to the Friends’ of the Library’s sale most of the day, so didn’t get many pictures. Fortunately, plenty of others did.
Some of the photos below are mine, but most were from public posts on Facebook. (Not surprisingly, given their incentive to promote their presence, quite a few were by politicians or political supporters.) Click thumbnails for photo credits:

The Southborough Democratic Town Committee held a little kids election between M&Ms and Skittles, and I’m happy to announce the results.
In a stunning upset, Skittles won handily, 66-44.
There were also three spoiled ballots on which both candy-dates were chosen, perhaps in a mistaken attempt to use ranked choice voting.
