Today’s the last day to support Jimmy Fund walkers

I’m just under the wire for sharing news on community members who joined in the Jimmy Fund Walk on the Boston Marathon course this fall. Apparently, this is the last day to donate to support their fight against cancer.

Sorry for the short notice!

On October 1st, eight residents and Southborough’s police chief took part in the 35th annual fundraiser — during the fund’s 75th anniversary year. Below are photos and links to fundraising pages:

Cyndi Barnes walked with Team GRIT and encouraged on her fundraising page - Kick Cancer to the Curb! Viji Daniel's fundraising page featured inspiration - our survivor and warrior Zara Southborough's Chief Ryan Newell walked with other police chiefs in the state - photo from SPD Facebook post For the 8th year Robert Silver walked in memory of his late brother Barry - photo from Fundraising page

It’s worth noting that while you can’t yet sign up for next year’s walk, you can sign up to be alerted when registration opens. (Click here.)
