Hit the Bus to kick off Outdoor Concert Series this Wednesday

Hit the Bus is kicking off Southborough’s Summer Concert Series this week. The popular local band will play on Wednesday, July 10th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

The concerts put on by Southborough Recreation will take place on the outdoor stage and field at Neary School, 53 Parkerville Road.

summer concert - july 10 flyerConcert goers are encouraged to bring blankets or chairs and enjoy a picnic. While you can bring your own food, you can also buy dinner from a food truck. The first concert will feature the Wicked Tasty truck. (You can check out their menu here and pics of some of their offerings here.)

For those of you not familiar with the popular local band, members describe their genre as an “eclectic mix of music ranging from the 50’s to Today.” In 2019, the Town promoted the band as blending “rock, acoustic melodies, and electronic to create a unique sound”.

Summer Concert Series 2024The six week concert series will continue each Wednesday through August 14th (no rain dates):

  • July 17 – Brett Warwick& Friends
  • July 24 – Paxton Crossing
  • July 31 – Last Call Radio
  • August 7 – Stacey Peasley (Children’s Concert)
  • August 14 – Elastic 5 Band

The series is again sponsored by The Southborough Community Fund, Friends of Southborough Recreation, and Southborough Cultural Arts Council (funded through the Mass Cultural Council).
