Southborough Youth & & Family Services is partnering with Families for Depression Awareness to offer a free workshop. The focus is on helping families manage stress and depression.
The workshop is part of SYFS’ Suicide Prevention Month activities. (I already included info about the workshop in a post about that initiative last week. But it was buried in that post, so some readers may have missed it.)
The event is on Tuesday, September 24th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. Although it is free, pre-registration is required.
SYFS’ flyer promotes the free program as offered in partnership with Families for Depression Awareness:
Do you and your family have the tools needed to address life’s stressors? Come learn practical strategies to manage stress! By being knowledgeable about self-
care and mental health, you can get on the path to wellness.
The workshop is being offered as a “hybrid” one. That allows people to select how they are most comfortable participating. You can join them in person at Algonquin Regional High School’s Library (79 Bartlett St, Northborough). Or sign up to attend virtually over zoom instead.
