St. Matthew Parish of Southborough asked me to share an announcement about the recipients of this year’s “St. Matthew, Mary Aikens, Murphy Family Scholarship.”
The scholarships of $1,000 – $2,500 were awarded at a to 16 graduating seniors at a “Mass for Grads” on June 8th.. Each recipient is an active member of St. Matthew Parish.
The applicants were required to have good attendance in the Religious Education Program and be actively involved in the church’s Youth Ministry Program. They must also be accepted to and planning to attend an institute of higher learning or entering the military.
Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients. Below is the list, along with the colleges they plan to attend:
