The Southborough Library is bringing in an entertaining science educator for an interactive program with kids next week. The show is geared for kids in grades K – 5.
The program run by Science Heroes is themed the “Adventure of the Missing Color”. The drop-in fun will take place on Tuesday, July 29th from 4:00 – 4:30 pm. The library promotes:
Science Heroes returns to the library with stories about the scientists who color our world! This show will feature interactive stories along with hands-on science experiments.
I was initially puzzled by the word “returns” since I didn’t have record of a past visit. Then I figured out that the company has rebranded itself — again.
The company was named “Talewise” when it visited last summer, though their story/theme was “Science Heroes” and it looks like they were in the midst of the rebrand.
Prior to Talewise, they entertained at the library under the name “ScienceTellers”. What has been consistent over the years is their marketed approach of combining stories for kids with interactive, fun experiments to teach scientific lessons.
On the company’s website it promotes that this summer’s program features “amazing experiments all about: chemical reactions, laws of motion, air pressure, and more!”
