The Southborough Police and Fire Departments issued a joint press release about a tragic “incident” at a home on Flagg Rd yesterday afternoon.
The situation sounds like a tragic accident led to the death of a roofing contractor. But, according to the statement, the cause is under investigation by the SPD.

Fatal Fall Incident Under Investigation on Flagg Road
The Southborough Police Department is investigating a fatal incident involving a roofing contractor who fell from a residence on Flagg Road on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
At approximately 1539 hrs, Southborough Police and Fire Departments were dispatched to a reported fall from a height at a private residence. Upon arrival, first responders located an adult male who had sustained serious injuries consistent with a fall from the roof of the home.
The Southborough Fire Department assessed the patient on scene and initiated emergency medical care. The individual was subsequently transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
The identity of the individual is being withheld at this time. Updates will be provided as they become available and no further information is available at this time.
This incident remains under active investigation by the Southborough Police Department Detective Bureau, with assistance from the Massachusetts State Police and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
