This Wednesday, the Southborough Senior Center is holding its annual flu clinic that offers high dose vaccines recommended for seniors.
It turns out that an error in the newsletter link incorrectly made it appear that no slots were available. There are actually still some slots left. (And if those fill up quickly, the Health Dept may open up some more slots.)
The clinic runs from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm on Wednesday, October 7th at the Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road. To register, click here. As of writing this post, there were 10 available slots.
For those who register, the Senior Center’s newsletter instructs:
Please fill out the forms located at the front desk or in the kitchen area and please have a copy of your insurance card. We can assist you if needed! Completed forms should be brought to the Board of Health located on the first floor. Wear short sleeves!
If you have questions, you can reach out to the Health Department at 508-281-8983.
As for the Town’s clinic — I missed sharing the Greater Boroughs Drive Thru Clinic that was held at Algonquin over the weekend.
Other options for getting the shots are through your doctor, or through scheduling an appointment at one of the large pharmacy chains offering free vaccinations. Walgreens in Southborough offers annual shots for the Flu and Covid (plus other vaccines including for Pneumonia).
