To the Editor:
Words are powerful.
I walked into town meeting with my sister, we sat next to each other. When a vote was taken one of us raised her hand and the other did not. We left town meeting still bonded. Disagreements are a crucial part of democracy and a right we enjoy as Americans. Both my sister and I care about this town and we care deeply about children.
Peace,
Karen EV Connell
