On Monday, the public is invited to the swearing in ceremony for a new Deputy Chief of the Southborough Fire Department.
The new position is being filled by SFD Captain Kenneth Franks, III. The position was added to the Fire Department through the budget approved at Annual Town Meeting in the spring.
On Facebook, the SFD is promoting the ceremony, scheduled for this Monday, June 30th at 2:00 pm. It will take place at the Fire Station (in the Public Safety Building at 32 Cordaville Road).
