Rainy Day Story Time (no matter the weather) on August 12th

Next week, the Mass Dept of Conservation and Recreation is returning to the Southborough Library. This time, they’ll be educating and entertaining kids ages 2 – 5 years old.

Despite the name “Rainy Day Nature Story Time”, the program will take place rain or shine. The event is titled for its focus on a story and hands-on activities that will “introduce the water cycle and show what animals do when it rains.” The program will include a water experiment and craft.

Pre-registration is required for the program scheduled for Tuesday, August 12th from 11:00 –11:45 am. To sign kids up, click here.

It’s the last of three educational programs the library is offering this summer in partnership with DCR’s Division of Water Supply. The programs are part of the state’s effort to teach youth about the importance of protecting the public water supply.
