Fay School is promoting free sports clinics this month. But registration is limited, and sign up ends soon.

Try It! Lacrosse Clinic

A message from the school yesterday alerted me that they had only 3 spots left in this clinic. If still available, that opportunity for kids 5 – 6 yr old is this Tuesday, August 12th, from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. (Sorry, I wasn’t aware of the earlier opportunities this summer!)

Parents/guardians must stay for the session. You can learn more and sign up here.

Pre-Season Sports Clinic

For kids entering grades 5 – 9, there are two different options available, but you can only choose one — Football or Soccer. (Make your mind up quickly, since registration closes this Monday, August 11th!)

The program consists of “three mornings of practice and conditioning” led by Fay’s Director of Athletics and coaches. That will take place Monday, August 18 – Wednesday, August 20, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.

The registration page promotes the following additional opportunity:

Wednesday 12:00 pm Lunch-and-Learn

Panel: Athletics and the Secondary School Admission Process
At the conclusion of the program on Wednesday, all participants and their parents/guardians are invited to a lunch and panel discussion about the role of athletics in the secondary school admission process. The panel will be led by Matt Greene, Assistant Director of Admission at Fay and Athletics Liaison. This event is free of charge, but a separate registration will be required later this summer.
