Here’s my quick recap of today’s decisions made by voters.
Less than 200 voters participated in today’s meeting. I’ll cover the debates over decisions in the coming week. This is just my quick list of votes.
1. Change Town Clerk position from Elected to Appointed — Passed
2. Amend Zoning Code – Two Family Dwellings — Failed to get the 2/3 supermajority needed for a zoning change. (Only 51% of voters approved it.)
3. CPC – Appropriate Additional CPA Funds for Golf Irrigation Project — Passed
4. CPC – Appropriate Additional CPA Funds for Peninsula Trails Project — Passed
5. Create a Stormwater Enterprise Fund — Passed
6. Rescind Unused Debt Authorizations — Passed
7. Appropriation from Water Fund for connecting properties to Town Water — Passed
8. Increase Personal Property Tax Exemption Amount — Passed
