The Greater Boroughs Partnership for Health will hold a Drive Thru Flu Clinic for Southborough and two other towns a week from Saturday. Days later, the Southborough Health Department will be holding its annual flu vaccine clinic for residents ages 65+. Registration is open for both events.
Both events are free, though pre-registration is required, and they will request your insurance details.
Whichever day you choose, participants are encouraged to wear short sleeves.
Drive Thru Clinic
This clinic is for all residents of Southborough, Northborough and Boylston, ages 6 months and older. (Although, it won’t include the high dose shots recommended for seniors.) It will be held in the parking lot at Algonquin Regional High School on Saturday, October 4th from 9:00 am to noon. Click here to sign up for a time slot.
Participants are asked to leave their pets at home.
Senior Clinic
The clinic for seniors will have the high dose flu shots that are recommended for people 65 years old and older “to provide stronger protection against serious flu complications.” That event will take place on Wednesday, October 8th from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at the Southborough Senior Center, 9 Cordaville Road.
Pre-registration is required.
