Next week, Southborough Recreation is offering a one-night only workshop to make a fall themed stained glass “suncatcher”. The class is open to anyone aged 13+ (with a fee). Two more opportunities, to make different styles of suncatchers will follow this fall.
There is a catch. Teens under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. (That could make it a fun parent-teen activity for parents who sign up to make one of their own.)
The classes will take place at Rec’s facilities in the South Union Building, 21 Highland Street. Each will run on a Friday night from 6:30 – 9:30 pm.

Participants will have several patterns to choose from. No experience necessary.
We’ll use the traditional Tiffany-style using the copper foil method of stained glass, and you’ll learn how to cut, grind, foil, solder, and care for stained glass. This is a one-day class, and all class supplies will be provided.
All participants will leave with a finished suncatcher to display proudly.
The cost is $75 per person, per workshop.
The first one up is a week from tonight, Friday, October 3rd. The theme is Fall:
