A quick reference guide to when Town facilities are closed over the holiday break.
Thanksgiving is more than just a day of thanks. Most people — whether traveling, cooking, or hosting a gathering — take a little time off from work before and/or after the day. So it’s not surprising that municipal facilities will be closed for more than just Thursday.
Here’s what’s closing early and/or staying closed longer.
Southborough Senior Center
Closes at noon today (Wednesday, November 26th) and remains closed through the weekend.
Southborough K-8 public schools and Algonquin Regional High School
NSBORO Schools have early dismissals today (Wednesday, November 26th.) Dismissal times by schools are ARHS at 11:06 am, Trottier at 10:50 am, Neary at 11:50 am, Woodward at 12:05 pm, and Finn K-1 at 12:20 pm and Pre-K at 11:00 am.) Remains closed through the weekend.
Assabet Valley Regional Technical High School
Closed today (Wednesday, November 26th) through the weekend.
Town House, and Town Offices
Open today (Wednesday, November 26th) until 5:00 pm. But — individual town offices may close early or be working from home. So, call ahead or email to double check before heading there. Closed Thanksgiving through the weekend.
Southborough Library
Open today (Wednesday, November 26th) until 9:00 pm. Closed Thanksgiving through the weekend.
Transfer Stations
Open for regular hours today and Saturday. Closed Thursday and Friday.
