Obituary: Paul Norman Krauss, 87

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved father, Paul Norman Krauss. He passed away peacefully at home on November 19, 2025, at the age of 87. He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Sally Krauss; and his children, Eric, Trisha, and Gwen; and his grandchildren, Will and Lulu Krauss. He will also be greatly missed by his grand dog and faithful companion, Stanley

Paul and Sally established many close friendships and fond memories in Southboro, MA where they raised their children. The family also treasured their annual summer vacations in York Beach, ME with Sally’s parents. Paul and Sally were active members of St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Southboro where he served on the vestry and sang with Sally in the choir.

Paul was a graduate of Natick High School and Northeastern University. He began his career at Dennison Manufacturing when he was still a student at Northeastern. He had a long and successful sales career that eventually took him to Greensboro, NC when Dennison merged with Avery. For the past 34 years, Paul and Sally have resided in Greensboro, NC. Paul enjoyed a long and happy retirement: playing golf, refinishing furniture, walking Gwen’s dogs, and keeping busy with his many household projects. Paul and Sally were also active members at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Greensboro where they sang in the choir.

His daughter Gwen lived with Paul and Sally in Greensboro for the last 10 years of his life and blessed him with her devotion and her dogs, Boston and Stanley. Each of Paul’s children inherited his love for animals and before Paul had grandchildren, he had his grand dogs, Ellie and Hector.

He will be missed, and his memory will be cherished forever.

Paul would want us to be kind to each other and the animals that we love.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you please donate to a charity of your choice in Paul’s name.
