Carol J. (Charbonnier) Lamson passed peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2016.
She was the beloved daughter of the late Jules and Aldona (Motuzas) Charbonnier and the wife of the late Laurence “Ed” Lamson, who passed away in 2018. She was also predeceased by her granddaughter, Ashlyn Renee Campbell.
Carol is survived by her loving daughters, Donna Campbell and her husband Keith of Southborough, and Linda Montiverdi and her husband Vincent of Westborough. She was a proud grandmother to Chelsea Dezotell and her husband Jason, Dylan Campbell, and McKenzie Campbell, and a great-grandmother to Colby Dezotell, all of Southborough. She is also survived by her brother, Bob Charbonnier and his wife Pat; her brother-in-law, Albert Lamson and his wife Delores; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Carol will be especially missed by her sweet canine companion, Daphney, and her beloved grand-dogs, Gracie, Luna, and Riley.
Carol set a strong example for her family through her unwavering work ethic and self-determination. She greatly enjoyed traveling and spending time at the beach with her family, creating memories that will be treasured forever.
Her family is deeply grateful for the compassionate care she received at Tufts Infusion Center and at St. Patrick’s Manor.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, January 26, 2026, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the Morris-Johnston Funeral Home, 40 Main Street, Southborough, MA 01772. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made by giving blood through the American Red Cross. Memorial donations may also be made to the MSPCA or to St. Patrick’s Manor of Framingham.
