Next week, the Southborough Library is offering a free “hands-on aerospace workshop” for kids entering grades 3–7.
Registration is required. And, as of writing this post, there were only 4 spots left this morning. So if your kids are interested, sign them up quickly!
The “Ready, Set, Launch!” workshop will be held at the library on Thursday, August 13th from 4:00 – 5:00 pm.
The library promotes that participating kids:
will learn about the basic science behind rockets and flight. They will then design and build their own paper rockets and put their rockets to the test with a stomp-rocket launcher.

Before and after the workshop, attendees can also pop into the Children’s Room to enjoy the ongoing and weekly activities through the library’s Summer Reading program for kids. For more info on that program and activities, click here.
