Last weekend, Southborough BSA Troop 1 celebrated its 116th member to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout.

James Henebury’s family shared photos from the ceremony and his Eagle Scout project.

The project was to replace the fencing around a garden run by Finn School Kindergarten Teacher Kristen Peterson. Peterson uses the garden to teach students about plants/ growing/harvesting etc.

Henebury worked on the project from fall 2025 to spring 2026 with help from the troop. The project was also supported by donations from Southborough residents through a fundraiser he held at the Transfer Station.
