A week from Sunday, Pilgrim Church will kick off its Sunday School season with an event open to the public. The free activities will include a petting zoo, crafts and lunch.
The event is part of the Congregational church’s annual Rally Sunday, kicking off the new season of Kids’ Church.
The church promotes their new theme as “All We Need is Love”.
Anyone interested can join them this Sunday, September 20th at 10:00 am at 15 Common Street. The event will include cheeseburgers followed by the perfect dessert for a Sunday — ice cream sundaes.
Attendees can meet Pilgrim’s “new Child Care Provider” and see the new infant/toddler space.

Kids learn about the world by interacting with animals, when they’re blessed to be able to do so. . .
Animals have been an important part of the Christian story (and the central stories of most major religions) since people started passing those stories along. The Old and the New Testament are full of experiences with and around animals.
