Southborough resident honored by firefighters

(Photo from the Metrowest Daily News) Southborough resident John Patrick “Pat” Hanley lost his battle with cancer last week. He was 55. Hanley was a 30-year veteran firefighter and emergency medical technician who worked in both Sudbury and Framingham. Algonquin energy assessment

Starting in November, Algonquin will undergo a 60-day, whole-building energy assessment by National Grid to address ways the school could use energy better. The evaluation will focus on mechanics and lighting, according to Facilities Director Michael Gorman who spoke at the Northborough-Southborough School Committee Meeting earlier this month.
