Ten miles of toilet paper: St. Mark’s tries to break mathematical record

Try this experiment. Go get yourself a length of toilet paper. Now fold it in half crosswise. Fold it in half again and again. It won’t take long – maybe three or four folds – before the paper won’t stay folded anymore. Now try taking 53,000 feet of toilet paper and folding it in half over and over. Girl Scout cookie sales start today

Southborough scouts joined others in Eastern Massachusetts this week in kicking off their annual Girl Scout cookie sale. It’s a big fundraiser for Southborough troops, with up to $0.75 of each box sold going directly back to support local troop activities. Rotary donates $1700 to the Southborough Food Pantry

At their meeting this week, Southborough Rotary donated $1700 in gift cards to the Southborough Food Pantry. The money for the cards was raised through Rotary’s annual Heritage Day Road Race, and will go to support the pantry’s holiday drive.
