Southborough police log (12/5/11 – 12/7/11): Reports of fraud, Christmas lights cut

Monday, December 5, 2011

  • 12:50 am – ARRESTED: A Framingham man was placed under arrest due to an outstanding arrest warrant.
  • 2:52 am – Officers investigated a report of a loud noise in front of a Cordaville Road residence. The homeowner reported hearing noises, and thought that someone may be trying to break in. Officers checked the area and found no signs of a disturbance.
  • 4:35 am – Officers investigated a noise complaint from a Breakneck Hill Road resident. The noise was found to be coming from paving equipment at a Turnpike Road business. The pavers were advised of the complaint.
  • 10:04 am – Officers assisted a disabled motorist on Turnpike Road.
  • 10:50 am – A Bantry Road resident reported being the victim of a fraud. Officers responded and took a report of the incident.
  • 3:23 pm – A Burglary was reported at a Main Street residence. Officers responded and processed the crime scene. (more info)
  • 3:53 pm – A medical was reported at a Turnpike Road business.
  • 7:10 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Northboro Road business.
  • 8:47 pm – Officers received a report from Marlborough Police of road debris on Acre Bridge Road. Officers responded and removed a large, traffic barrel from the middle of the road.

Tuesday, December 6, 2011

  • 7:44 am – A caller reported a disabled motor vehicle was causing a large traffic jam at Neary Elementary School. Officers responded and assisted the disabled motorist.
  • 7:52 am – A medical was reported on 495 North by Massachusetts State Police.
  • 8:55 am – Officers responded to a Lyman Street residence to assist a resident that was having a dispute with their contractor. They were advised that it was a civil matter.
  • 9:22 am – Officers responded to a Main Street address for a report of a burglary to the residence. The responding officers processed the crime scene.
  • 10:06 am – A medical was reported at a Newton Street business.
  • 11:10 am – Officers investigated an abandoned 911 call from a Northboro Road business.
  • 11:33 am – An erratic operator was reported on Turnpike Road. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • 12:03 pm – An Andrews Road resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked outside of her neighbor’s home. Officers responded to the scene and found no one in the vehicle. The incident was logged by the responding officer.
  • 3:09 pm – A Main Street resident reported a suspicious male wearing a backpack and walking down the road. Officers responded to the area and found the male party, who was later found to be a resident of Main Street.
  • 4:25 pm – A North Street resident reported coming home to find her Christmas lights had been vandalized (cut). Officers responded and took a report.
  • 5:48 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. There were injuries reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 6:25 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of this accident.

Wednesday, December 7, 2011

  • 1:13 am – Officers responded to a possible B&E in progress at a Gilmore Road residence. Officers checked the area and determined that there was no attempted B&E.
  • 9:32 am – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 9:35 pm – A Presidential Drive resident reported being the victim of credit card fraud. An officer responded, filed a report, and our detective will be following up on the investigation.
  • 12:37 pm – Officers investigated a burglar alarm at a Meeting House Road residence.
  • 2:57 pm – Officers investigated a report of an audible alarm in the area of Gilmore Road. The responding officers were unable to locate the source of the alarm, as it had stopped prior to their arrival.
  • 5:26 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
  • 6:40 pm – A motorist reported an erratic operator on Mt. Vickery Road. Officers responded to the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
  • 10:58 pm – Officers investigated a two car, motor vehicle accident on Turnpike Road. No injuries were reported from the scene of the accident.
