At their meeting this week, Southborough Rotary donated $1700 in gift cards to the Southborough Food Pantry to support their holiday drive. The money for the cards was raised through Rotary’s annual Heritage Day Road Race.

The gift cards will help local families serviced by the Southborough Food Pantry, along with Southborough Youth and Family Services, to purchase necessities this winter. Rotary donated cards from Stop & Shop, Price Chopper, Eaton Pharmacy, and Walgreen’s. They also purchased $300 in gift checks from Falconi Brothers that recipients can use toward gas and oil. Falconi’s generously matched the amount, to bring the total to $600.

If you want to donate gift cards to help local families in need this holiday, you can drop them off at any of the food pantry’s member churches – Pilgrim, St. Anne, St. Matthew, St. Mark’s, and First Community Church – or stop by Pilgrim Church during normal pantry hours (Tuesday 7:00 – 8:00 pm, and Friday 10:00 – 11:00 am). You can also donate gifts cards to Southborough Youth and Family Services.
