Committee dedicates Cordaville park

The design of Cordaville Park, also called the Triangle, at the intersection of Cordaville and Southville Roads has provoked strong opinions from many of you. Love it or not – I happen to love it – the park presents a dramatic welcome to those visiting Southborough from the south. It’s a park that was ten years in the making, and last week the volunteers who saw it through gathered to officially dedicate the park. Marlboro Road family convinces selectmen tree should come down

When a Marlboro Road family petition a year ago to remove a tree at the end of their driveway because they said it was a safety hazard – and when the Board of Selectmen voted not to cut down the tree – the story elicited strong response from many of you. Despite the no-vote, the family didn’t give up their effort, and last week they convinced the Board of Selectmen to change its mind.
