Woodward SOS is offering pies for sale just in time for Thanksgiving: delicious pecan, pumpkin and apple pies, or a sweet, juicy peach fruit crisp. Love it or not – I happen to love it – the park presents a dramatic welcome to those visiting Southborough from the south. Justine P. (Powers) Murphy, 88, died peacefully Saturday October 22nd at the Heritage Nursing Home in Lowell. She was the beloved wife of Edmund D. When a Marlboro Road family petition a year ago to remove a tree at the end of their driveway because they said it was a safety hazard – and when the Board of Selectmen voted not to cut down the tree – the story elicited strong response from many of you.
