High school spring sports season opens on Thursdsay

After coming from behind at the end of regulation to force the game into overtime, the girls lost their state semi-final match to Amherst by a score of 49-45. Algonquin girls basketball team wins district championship!

Southborough will have two youth football leagues next season
When the Northboro-Southborough T-Hawks made the decision to split from Pop Warner last month, things got a bit ugly. The two organizations reached a settlement late last week on how to split $90K in assets and $30K in equipment, with both saying they’ll run football and cheer leagues in Northborough and Southborough next year.
