This is short notice, but earlier today I learned the Gold Star Memorial train will make a stop in Southborough this evening. The special passenger coach which bears the name of every soldier, marine, sailor and airman who lost their life while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, was scheduled to pass through town last week as it traveled the Boston-Worcester line, but the run had to be scrapped at the last moment due to mechanical problems. The recent decision by a Worcester court to deny an appeal by the owners of Gulbankian Farms, has prompted quite a few of you to speak out in support of the Gulbankian family here on the blog.
