Special education parents group hosts “Ask the Advocate” morning – Thursday, December 6

The Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council is hosting an opportunity for parents and caregivers to talk with experts about special education needs for children. Here are the details:

Northborough/Southborough Special Education Parent Advisory Council (NSPAC) announces “Ask the Advocate” morning coffee meeting on Thursday, December 6, 2012 from 10:00 AM-12:OO PM at the Northborough Public Library 34 Main Street.

The panel will feature three special education advocates: Lisa Brown, Susan Haberman, and Elaine Rabbitt. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about your child’s special education needs, IEPs, 504s, how the process works and …”How do I advocate effectively for my child”? Come with your questions in hand and benefit from the knowledge only a panel of experienced advocates can provide.
