The movie claims its first casualty – the food pantry

While the movie is a fun diversion for most of us, it does throw a wrench in things for some. The Southborough Food Pantry, which operates out of Pilgrim Church, will close from May 10 until May 29 while scenes from the Adam Sandler comedy is filmed in and around the church.

Thank you to Earth Day volunteers

About 60 Southborough residents took part in the Earth Day Clean Up event last Saturday. DPW Director Karen Galligan says volunteers collected an estimated 100 bags of trash (possibly more) and covered about one-third of the town.
Some areas of town that didn’t get covered were Marlborough Road, Main Street, Chestnut Hill Road, Sears Road, Oak
