Southborough’s top 5 taxpayers

The Worcester Business Journal ran a brief profile of Southborough the other week. The most interesting bit from my perspective was a list of the town’s top five taxpayers in FY2009.
I wasn’t familiar with any of the names on the list except for EMC, so I looked them up in the FY2009 Real Estate Tax

Time to renew your Transfer Station sticker

Information on how to purchase Transfer Station stickers for 2010 went out to Southborough residents last week. You can buy them online, by mail, or in person at the DPW office. The deadline is September 15.
You’re required to have a valid sticker if you want to use the Transfer Station to get rid of trash

Sign up now for August art camps

The Southborough Arts Center is offering two weeks of art classes for children this summer. You can sign your kids up for either a one-day class or a four-day program in anything from pottery to painting to cartooning to kite-making.
Classes start August 17 and are open to kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Registration closes
